Two weeks ago we launched the new video we created for the South Okanagan-Similkameen National Park Network, through our video production company Storyboard Productions. The purpose of this version of the video was to show some of the business and jobs advantages of having a national park reserve in the South Okanagan-Similkameen region.

“We cannot avoid the environmental fact that this region is one of the country's most endangered natural ecosystems. The present provincial system does not provide enough protection to this area. Today, we are proud to say we are partnering with the Lower Similkameen Indian Band, and the Governments of Canada and British Columbia to move forward with the important work needed to protect this area as a proposed national park for future generations."

Our video below was recently tagged at costing in excess of $100,000 by the head of the “No National Park” group as an example of overspending by the government and conservation groups. (Facebook link) While we appreciate this estimate of the worth of our production, for the record, the final total invoice was under one fifth of that amount.
